Die Mitglieder der International Film Music Critics Association haben die Sieger des 3. IFMCA-Awards 2006 bekannt gegeben. James Newton Howard konnte mit seiner Musik zu Lady in the Water gleich drei der Preise gewinnen. Komponist des Jahres ist allerdings Alexandre Desplat, der damit für seine Arbeiten für The Queen und The Painted Veil ausgezeichnet wurde.
