Sony Classical wird noch im Januar zwei Scores veröffentlichen: Closing the Ring von Jeff Danna und The Waterhorse – Legend of the Deep von James Newton Howard.

Closing the Ring, ein Film des Regisseurs Richard Attenborough, ist eine romantische Komödie mit Mischa Barton, Shirley MacLaine und Christopher Plummer in den Hauptrollen. Jeff Dannas Score ist dementsprechend romantisch ausgefallen, mit Einflüssen aus der keltischen Musik.

Eine weiterer Release wird James Newton Howards Score zum Film The Waterhorse – Legend of the Deep sein. Der Fantasy-Streifen entstand unter der Regie von Jay Russell und wird in Europa ab Februar gezeigt. Music From the Movies über den Score: The composer has assembled a large orchestra to create a sweeping fantasy score, augmented by the celtic sounds of The Chieftains and an original song performed by Sinéad O’Connor.
